Police officers need to be equipped to face any situation. The Ranger GSG9-S will provide your feet with all the protection they need, regardless of the type of deployment in which you are involved. It also offers enhanced protection against bacteria or viruses, which may be transferred via blood or other body fluids. This is a professional boot which is also perfectly suited to the policing of demonstrations. A padded ankle area shields you against injuries that may be caused by impacts from the side, whilst a puncture-resistant sole wards off any threat from sharp items underfoot, such as shards of glass. An outsole to suit every purpose The Ranger GSG9-S has no problem at all in coping with highly specialist activities such as abseiling from a helicopter. Its seamless inner side helps guide the rope, whilst the edges of the boot’s abrasion-resistant rubber sole enables you to slow yourself down in a controlled manner. If you find yourself on patrol in winter or performing guard duty in summer, the outsole of the Ranger GSG9-S offers your feet reliable insulation against the heat and cold. The leather used in the manufacture of the boot also reflects the sun’s rays to prevent any overheating. Pleasant temperatures at all times A police officer’s work may involve everything from carrying out raids to simply being out on the beat. It may well be that such activities quickly bring you out in a sweat. The inner lining of the HAIX Ranger GSG9-S ensures that your feet remain fresh. A watertight CROSSTECH® membrane provides breathability. In contrast to other GORE-TEX® membranes, it also offers enhanced protection against bacteria or viruses which may be transferred via blood or other bodily fluids.   A three-ply laminate expels warm and damp air to stop any build-up within the shoe, whilst an anatomically formed inlay absorbs sweat in an extremely effective manner. The latter is fast drying and can be removed and exchanged if required. A special lining around the cuff also assists with the removal of any dampness. Upper material The HAIX Ranger GSG9-S is manufactured in waterproof cowhide. This provides an upper which is about two millimetres thick and especially breathable. The leather used prevents the boot from overheating by reflecting the rays of the sun, thus ensuring that less heat is transported to your feet. The interior of the boot does not contain any seams. This smooth surface makes it an ideal and secure option for “fast roping”. A two-zone lacing system enables the foot and calf areas of the boot to be adjusted to different tightnesses in order to provide a perfect individual fit. Lining, inlays, footbed The Ranger GSG9-S features an inner lining made of abrasion-resistant fabric. Three-ply CROSSTECH® laminate keeps the boot waterproof and breathable whilst also offering enhanced protection against bacteria or viruses, which may be transferred via blood or other body fluids. The EVA mesh inlay may be removed and washed if required. A micro-dry lining at the cuff also allows moisture to escape. The ankle area of the Ranger GSG9-S is well padded and affords adequate protection against impacts or kicks from the side. Sole The outsole of the HAIX Ranger GSG9-S comprises a particularly hard-wearing mix of rubber and PU (polyurethane). This material is significantly more durable than that used in comparable footwear and permits you to move along particularly quietly. It also provides reliable insulation against the cold and heat. The rubber used in the manufacture of the sole is colour fast and will not leave any ugly black marks on light-coloured floors. The edges of the sole are perfectly suited to slowing down your progress whilst abseiling. A PU foam (polyurethane) layer extending over the entire area of the sole cushions your steps as you go and reduces pressure on your joints. This integrated inlay contains no metal. It is also puncture resistant and will prevent any penetration of sharp objects such as shards of glass or nails. The Ranger GSG9-S is the ideal professional choice for the police service. A dual-zone lacing system enables it to be perfectly adjusted to fit the foot and calf area of the wearer. Order your new HAIX professional boots now.

Thanks to the two-zone lacing of the Ranger GSG9-S, the lacing can be quickly fixed and the shoe can be optimally adjusted to the foot. The lacing is first adjusted and fixed in the instep area and can then be variably adjusted in the shaft area. This combination provides support and stability.

The Ranger GSG9-S can be put on and taken off quickly and easily, so that the focus can be fully on the work.

The Ranger GSG9-S is equipped with a puncture-resistant sole. This protects against the penetration of sharp objects.

All-round protection with the Ranger GSG9-S.

Thanks to Gore Crosstech, the Ranger GSG9-S is not only waterproof, but also protects against the entry of blood and body fluids.

The Ranger GSG9-S can be used in any work without any restriction.

You can find all the right spare parts for our shoes on our spare parts page.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.

Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.

From experience, the Ranger GSG9-S is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

The best. Really.

I have own these for over 10 years now. I hesitated buying them about a year, since they're quite expensive. But once I did, the best decision I ever made. I know, such a sales pitch. But they're just that good.

They're light, sleek (if you have your trousers over them, almost looks like a normal shoe), comfortable with different patches of leather and textile to ease the movement of your foot. The d-rings around your ankle, to divide the stiffness of lacing, etc.

The gold here, though, is the sole.
It grips (it really does, even on ice the next best thing would be studded shoes), Doesn't squeak (you know that sound when a wet shoe meets a stone/steel surface, none of that)
Has insulation (They're my main winter boots even, since the majority of cold your feet are going to get, is from surface, through the sole)

And on a random note. You know how when you buy 'combat boots', etc. Well a shoe, that's not a sneaker, really, you should walk around 100km to make them adapt to your feet, before actually using them. For me, there was none of that with these. Fit from the get go, no soreness nor blisters.

This is not a paid promotion. They're just that good.

Again, just that good of a thing to have strapped to your feet.
