Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Safety Pro Mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Safety Pro Mid has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Safety Pro Mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

Lots of potential, but fails
I really like these boots and wish I could give them a high star rating but I can't. Let's start with the positives: They're pretty light. They feel athletic. My work is quite dynamic where… I really like these boots and wish I could give them a high star rating but I can't. Let's start with the positives: They're pretty light. They feel athletic. My work is quite dynamic where being agile helps a lot and these boots don't get in your way. They (mostly) stick to your foot irrespective of the ground you're walking on. The grip is superb. I've only slipped once and that was on slime covered planed wood. They're rock solid on everything else I've encountered; wood, rock, metal, plastic, mud, tarmac and smooth concrete, all while soaking wet. The grip gives me confidence. The lacing is fast, but has what I consider problems that I'll cover under the negatives. The material is excellent, and interesting. It warms up fast. It cools down fast. You don't feel the outside temperature, even from water. Contrasted with leather, where once it's saturated you need a bigger sized shoe for the air gap or thicker socks to create a barrier. These boots seem to negate this effect and requirement. Definitely tough. They're comfy straight out of the box, save for what I think is a seam on the outside of the big toe which starts to rub if the boot is wet for long periods. Negatives: They're not durably waterproof. They were waterproof (save the tongue) for about a month. Now I get damp toes, even from moderate water. The tongue is not waterproof. Top of your foot gets damp after about 3 hours. Ankle support is too minimal for a safety boot. It's more than a shoe, but not by much. I believe the problem is the lacing as you can (somewhat) cinch it up around your lower leg, but as soon as you walk your shin pushes the tongue forward, which pushes the top lacing down, therefore removing the support. I think the boot needs to be taller or the lacing reworked so it remains supportive. A consequence of the above is that it leaves a wide gap, which allows anything to fall into the boot if not wearing trousers. A further consequence of the above is that it slips a little in boggy terrain, but it's never been pulled off. The seam on the outside of the big toes mentioned above. 3 star, which, considering how much not being durably waterproof irks me, is generous. An easy 5 star if they fix the negatives.
