Per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of chemicals used in various products due to their water- and grease-repellent properties. Because of their persistence in the environment and potential health concerns, HAIX is striving to switch to PFAS-free materials.
The BLACK EAGLE EVO Athletic GTX mid is made exclusively from PFAS-free materials.
The BLACK EAGLE EVO Athletic GTX mid supports you in your daily police work or patrol duties with a fresh design and a new sole construction featuring an extra slip-resistant full rubber outsole. The performance-enhancing XLR8 technologies support your feet and give you more power with every step – for maximum control, stability, and comfort throughout your day. The integrated toe protection and TPU heel cap provide additional abrasion resistance and foot support. The highly abrasion-resistant laces with quick-release system are quickly and securely stowed in the redesigned, top-accessible lace pocket.
The BLACK EAGLE EVO Athletic GTX mid impresses with a fresh design, slip-resistant full rubber sole, and innovative XLR8 technologies for maximum control, stability, and comfort – complemented by robust toe protection and a new lace pocket.
The BLACK EAGLE EVO Athletic GTX mid has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the BLACK EAGLE EVO Athletic GTX mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The difference between the two models lies in the upper material. While the Black Eagle Tactical is made of leather, the Black Eagle Athletic is a textile shoe. The fit does not differ.
A light but robust shoe for demanding activities.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
The DIN EN ISO 20347 standard is an European standard for occupational footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class O2, which is permanently waterproof, will henceforth be classified as safety class O6.
